Leo + Mollie | White Lake Wedding

There could not have been a more beautiful day for Leo and Mollie’s White Lake wedding in September. The sun was shining and family and friends came from all over the country to help celebrate the joining of these two lives.

Mollie was an absolutely radiant bride. Her gown featured lace, gorgeous sequin detailing, and cap sleeves. She wore pearls, as a classy bride does. And Mollie was surrounded by a group of beautiful, supportive friends in navy gowns and blush pink bouquets.

Leo was a dapper groom in his grey suit. His eyes glowed with excitement over seeing his bride. Once he saw her? The smile never left his face. The groomsmen’s matching grey suits were complimented by blush boutonnieres Mollie hand crafted leading up to this White Lake wedding day. It was clear that both families were excited to be adding a new son and daughter to the mix.

After a beautiful Catholic ceremony, the celebration of the new Mr. and Mrs. Continued with a fun, energetic reception. The tables featured butcher paper and crayons for guests to draw on while they waited. Cowbells were strewn throughout the room, ringing on the couple for a kiss (or ten). One of my favorite details was the wedding favors: custom playing cards.

The most noteworthy moment of the day came during the reception. Leo and Mollie let us steal them from their reception for a jaw-dropping sunset session. There’s very few things that can beat a South Dakota sunset, but adding in an amazing White Lake wedding made this a sunset hard to be beat.

Finally, for this White Lake wedding I partnered with my dear friend Michaela of MKMphotog. She is so incredibly talented and our work is very complimentary. As a result she has become the perfect partner to make sure that every moment of the wedding is captured. Double the photographers means double the photos and I hope Leo and Mollie are just as pleased with their photos as we were.

Congratulations, Leo and Mollie! I cannot wait to hear how your love for one another continues to grow.
